About Julie

A little bit of me…

I love people, fun & laughter!
I enjoy walking in the countryside… It must involve a pub, as I love pale ales!
Gardening is also a big passion and love relaxing in after a long day’s work, it’s also used for photoshoots which are really handy.
I’ve recently joined the Got 2 Sing Choir and just love it!
I  find watercolour painting and anything arty really good to unwind  (if I ever get the time). I live in Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove with my husband Darren who is also a talented full-time commercial photographer.

I started my career as a wedding and portrait photographer in the heart of the West Midlands upon leaving school, after working at several large studios, I formed Julie King Photography in 1993 and I haven’t look back, during this time I have a wealth of experience,  photographing hundreds of weddings and portraits for over 25 years…  Way, way back in the days of film. This experience has helped me maintain an excellent reputation and proud to be known as one of the top UK female photographers.

The studio is based in Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire; but  I’m equally happy travelling throughout the UK  or even around the world  if requested.

I pride myself in giving providing my valued clients a fun and relaxing personal photography experience, whether I’m photographing a newborn or an intimate family  in the studio or a large group gathering at a location.

Maintaining a high quality is paramount, delivering exciting and unique images for the products I supplies to customers, including the ultimate service in designing portrait and wedding albums.
I hope you enjoy having a look around my website and galleries, If you like what you see, please feel free to contact me for chat, I would love to hear from you.
