ON THE DAY…  what to expect

You can expect me to be professional and friendly but efficient and hard-working, I’ve been known to put the camera down occasionally to help the bride into her dress, and I always try and go up and beyond what is expected.
I’m also an expert with buttonholes, cravats, and the groom with that perfect Oxford knot.

Pricing for 2024/25

To ensure I deliver the highest standards of quality and service, I book only a limited number of weddings per year, and 2024 is almost fully booked. Bookings are being taken for 2025/2026 weddings, and enquiring early is recommended.

For your peace of mind and protection, the company Julie King Photography
is fully covered by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

•​  A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required when booking – (no date is secure without the deposit being made).
•​  Travel costs may apply if the wedding location is over an hour away from my home address.
•​  The option to purchase wedding albums. Standard albums start from £475.

Additional Coverage:  £150 – Per additional hour • From £300 – Additional Photographer 

Extras:  £125 – Option 2 – Engagement Studio Photoshoot – This is a great way for us to get to know each other and for you, both, this includes a beautifully framed 10″x 8″ photograph.
             £150 – Signature Board 6” x  6” Photograph in a 16” x 16” frame.

An additional fee will be required for travel and accommodation if venues are over 1 hour from Bromsgrove.

10% discount on wedding packages from November to March.
Excludes Bank Holidays, and weddings throughout Christmas & New Year – Please ask for details.

What to expect from me as your wedding photographer 

I wanted to take a moment to share with you what lies ahead when you choose me as your wedding photographer. Your comfort and happiness are paramount to me, from the initial booking all the way through to delivering your final memories and beyond. To ensure a seamless and personalized experience, I’ve meticulously designed a process for all my clients.

Enquiry Stage
Upon receiving your inquiry, expect a response within 24 hours.
I’ll confirm my availability for your chosen date, and if not available, I’ll happily provide a carefully chosen list of recommended photographers whose work aligns with my admiration.

Informal Chat
For those local to me, a face-to-face meeting over coffee is my suggestion. However, if distance plays a role, a Skype chat is just as effective. This is an opportunity for you and your partner to ask questions and share your wedding plans, enabling me to tailor my approach to your vision.

Booking Confirmation
When you’re ready to proceed, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a booking form together with my terms and conditions, along with an invoice for the £200 booking fee.
Once you’ve electronically signed the booking form and settled the invoice, consider me booked and confirmed for your special day.

From Booking to the Wedding
Feel free to contact me with any questions at any time. Remember… No question is a silly question!
We’ll also start considering scheduling your engagement shoot, providing a relaxed environment to capture moments and allowing us to get to know each other better.

One Month Before Your Wedding
Expect your final invoice and a planning questionnaire, to help me structure the day effectively. Sending this through at least a month before your wedding allows us to schedule a call to go through the details.

Week of the Wedding
I’ll be in touch to confirm any changes to your timings and plans for the big day.

On the Day
The big day has arrived! I’ll be there roughly 30 – 90 minutes before your ceremony, capturing those magical moments leading up to the main event.

Delivery Day
Within 21 days of your wedding day, your photographs will be ready! I’ll send a link to your own private password-protected online gallery where you can download your images to print and share with family and friends.

Follow-Up and Beyond
I’ll send a follow-up email requesting feedback and a testimonial/review.
Although our wedding photography journey concludes, I hope our friendship and photography journey will continue. Many clients have entrusted me with capturing subsequent life events, and I hope to do the same for you. Feel free to stay in touch and share updates, I’ll reciprocate with regular updates of my own. I trust this provides insight into my approach leading up to and after your wedding.
